If our eye worked like the eye of a still camera, we would not see the movie’s images in motion. Instead, we would see multiple, blended, ghost-­‐like images from a different dimension in time. And while both live simultaneously on the silver screen, they evoke very different meanings and emotions. Both are here and there…very much alive.
